National Garden Month:
We believe in celebrating the power of gardening and all of the physical, emotional, and environmental benefits it provides. Through National Garden Month, the National Gardening Association effectively works to further the notion that gardening is an activity every person can enjoy.
Also, National Garden Months promotion of community involvement and environmental stewardship activities is in line with our corporate caring initiative Give Back to Grow. This company-wide initiative takes many forms: supporting horticultural treasures such as the National Garden in Washington, DC; providing educational opportunities to elementary school children; and encouraging vegetable gardeners across America to share their crops with local food banks. We are excited about sponsoring National Garden Month to help further the spirit of these initiatives.
